This is Deegle's Forecast for Landfall. Jacksonville North Carolina is where the eye of the storm will make landfall. So what does mean for those of us in or near Wilmington North Carolina? Well actually not much, the only benefit is that we wont take the Northeast part of the Storm. So expect massive power outages, lots of flooding in places that "Never Happens Here", Tree's down of all sizes, road blockages, limited emergency services, this one is going to take a little while to rebound from.
Timeframe:
Wednesday Daytime: Windy with Squalls, Wind picking up all day and higher gust.
Wednesday Nighttime: Winds picks up rapidly, lots and lots of rain.
Thursday Daytime: You'll know if you should have left or not, however, it will to late to leave.
Thursday Noon: Landfall at Noon in Jacksonville North Carolina.
Aftermath: Hunker down it's going to be heavy rain and high winds.
Attention:
People on the outer banks should pack up and go. Barrier Islands anywhere should be evacuated so you don't DIE!!!
